The pandemic situation doesn’t seem to end and the number of cases are growing each day. More than a million of people have been infected and to maintain the safety guidelines, approx. 900 million have been made to discontinue their jobs. While a lot of people have been laid off from their jobs, some have been practicing work from home to maintain social distancing guidelines.

Covid-19 outbreak has been affecting a lot of people from different communities. The architects have suffered a lot due to this situation and their work schedule has changed significantly.

Transitioning from office to work from home has never been easy and can affect your business in different ways. While the transition isn’t really smooth, it can be easily managed by coping with the situation. However, the commercial and residential architects have been trying their best to cope with the emergency condition. As an architect, if you have a proper plan, you can easily work at the comfort of your homes.

    Virtual collaboration and planning

Virtual collaboration has been one of the most important things to look forward to due to pandemic. Since you are working from a remote distance, you can connect with your team virtually.

Although virtual collaboration isn’t the same as real-life collaboration, at least you will have your team onboard. The different video conferencing platforms such as GoToMeeting, Google Meet, Slack, Zoom and Microsoft Team have helped to make virtual collaboration very easy.

You may face some network issues, but it is going to help you in the long run. The pandemic isn’t going away anytime soon which is why you will need to adapt to the current situation.

    Maintain workflow

Digitization has taken the world pretty forward, so, why do you want to stick to the old way? You can make the maximum with the help of online businesses. It is necessary to take required steps to stand ahead of your competition.

You can use cloud-based services so that you can work creatively in collaboration with each other. The Stendel Reich distribution center architect have been taking steps to upload their projects on cloud and work in collaboration. Make sure to use software and technology the most to get the most of your business.

    Accessible documents

One of the best ways to ensure faster working is to work in collaboration with your team members. You should be uploading the documents in such a way that it is accessible by everyone. Make sure to allow the team-mates to make significant changes in the documents.
